Terms and Conditions
Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.
To avoid disappointment please book your treatments in advance. Appointments can be made by email only.
By booking an appointment you are agreeing to co-operate with the The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited in the full terms of our conditions as outlined.
Migraine treatment you can book a 20 minute advice only consultation. This will require a £30 fee. This is non-refundable if no Treatment is taken. If a Treatment is taken, the £30 deposit is deducted from the Treatment cost.
We will endeavour to ensure that your appointment runs to time; however, for reasons beyond our control, we may need to cancel or postpone your appointment at short notice. In this unlikely event, we will make every effort to contact you in advance. Due to this treatment being a POM (prescription only medication) we will need to create a prescription in your name to proceed with a treatment.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to check in, relax and prepare for your treatment. New clients are required to complete a medical form before any treatment is carried out. The consultation form and consent forms contain questions relating to you current medical care and previous medical history.
You are required to complete all questions to allow the medical team to assess your suitability for treatment. All information provided on the consultation and consent forms will be discussed between you and clinic nurse. This confidential discussion will enable both to ensure that your goals are understood and achievable.
During your consultation we will also thoroughly explain the treatment, ensure you understand the advantages and if there are risks associated with the treatment and assess your suitability. If you are unsuitable we will explain the reason why and what your options are and offer an alternative where possible.
The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited complies with the data protection legislation and all information given will be held in the strictest of confidence and under no circumstances whatsoever, be passed onto any third party. Clinical records will be securely stored for a minimum of 5 years, prior to final disposal.
Our appointment system is designed to allocate the correct time for your treatment. Unfortunately, a late arrival will result in a reduced treatment time or you may be required to reschedule your appointment. If you find yourself running late, please inform the clinic by email. Late arrivals may result in additional charges being applied.
It is your, the client's, sole responsibility to attend your arranged appointment. We will notify you of the time and date of your appointment at the time of booking.
Your appointment is reserved for you. Should you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment time, you may reschedule for another time. To do this we will require £30 payment of the rescheduled Treatment at the time of booking to secure appointment. If you fail to attend the rescheduled appointment the £30 payment is not refundable. If you give us 48 hours notice that you can not attend the rescheduled appointment the £30 payment will be carried over to your next appointment.
We do not offer compensation if we cancel your appointment.
We will always assess whether Treatment is suitable for you, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. If a treatment is not appropriate for you, we will inform you as to the reasons why. You will only be liable for the cost of the initial consultation, where applicable.
No Client will receive any form of treatment until The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited has been provided with all medical details of the Client which shall be provided in writing and form part of the consultation form and treatment consent forms which will be provided prior to your consultation or treatment.
It is the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure that they have provided The Clinic nurse with all medical details in writing prior to each Treatment and such details shall form part of these terms and conditions.
The Client hereby undertakes to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited regarding the aftercare of any treated area and The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited accepts no liability of any kind incurred as a result of the Client’s failure to follow such instructions and/or recommendations.
The Terms and Conditions along with the consultation and consent forms represent the full agreement between The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited and each Client and no form can be amended without permission of The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited.
Your Right to Complain
The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited endeavours to treat all its Clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If, however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment, you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either verbally, by telephone or in writing. If you require assistance with making your complaint, The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited will be pleased to help.
The member of staff who initially receives the complaint will convey the details to the clinician who performed the treatment and you will receive a letter within 7 days of lodging the complaint that an investigation into the matter is under way.
During the course of the investigation, The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited may require you to attend an additional consultation with the clinician involved in your treatment, if this is deemed appropriate.
All prices are correct at time of printing and are subject to change from time to time. The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited reserves the right to change, amend, alter or withdraw treatments without prior notification.
The Head Clinic (Harrow) Limited are not subject to VAT.
